I'm talking about file sharing I guess. I can't change the pw without 
putting in the old one. I tried tossing the file sharing prefs and 
restarted. It produced no change. Asking for the pw happens when I go 
to the chooser and choose Appleshare, which is on the ethernet. I can 
see the other computer show up in the chooser window as it should- 
and when I hit ok I get the password window for that computer. Thank 
you for your quick response.
