-- I don't remember if I ever had the 7.5.3 disk. I think I upgraded via downloads and I have had non of that software for years. I do think that a clean install would work and I do have a sys 8.0 disk but I'm working with 32mgs of ram on the IIci and I dont know if it will install and run okay. I also have a non Apple cd player attached to the IIci that needs its extension to become available so I would not be able to start up with the os 8 cd. I used to have that problem all the time and went thru contortions to get new system os's on.
