The drive needs to be removed from the case it's in if it's been in a 
Mac II. I only have a IIci so I don't know what the fitting is like 
on the IIvx but you need to get he bare drive out some how. As I said 
the screws are a killer to get out - I've ended up hack-sawing a slot 
in the screw and using a large flat bladed screwdriver on them before 
now....
