Can't vouch for the HTML on a Compact, but it won't side-scroll unless you get it down under about 475 pixels wide, so it should at least *look* OK. Even the "high-res" version avoids side-scrolling down to about 630 pixels, so it's usable on anything except a Compact or 12" RGB. I might be tempted to simply tweak the high-res version a bit so that it works a bit better at < 640x480 and drop the low-res version entirely. BTW, you're missing character encodings on at least the index page, which is preventing it from validating as HTML 4.
