well... the 500MB hd is a maxtor, but it have many jumpers, but no
termination jumpers. it have 2 termination resistors.

exactly... :(
the bad thing about resistors, is that they can be put in the wrong way, i
did it with my quantum 80MB, and it don't work anymore... (well i suppose
the reason is that).
