Yes, exactly. I have two IIci's that won't boot without a terminator on the external connection. Both have non-apple drives internal. > > 3. Usually the TERMPWR jumper will only turn on the drive's onboard termination. Don't trust this. Hopefully one of the drives will also have a jumper called "provide TERMPWR to bus" or something like that. One device on the chain actually has to provide power to the external terminators.
