Actually, it's optimized for *nixes ;) The Win32 port is 2k optimized 
though. There are a few nifty features in the main source that haven't made 
it to Win binaries yet.

Never had any real problems with corruption under 9x. Only real issue I had 
was SCSI emulation. Never did get a CD to burn in 9x but it burned fine 
with Toast in 2k.

Nope, 8.0/8.1 both run just great. Some minor issues with the Monitors and 
Sound Control Panel, but otherwise it works great :)

I still use real Macs quite a lot myself, including my IIci. :)
