That sounds like a good idea. I think what makes 7.5 slower is the PPC 
code in it. I'm not sure, but since 7.5 was around when all the PCI 
Powermacs were, it was optimized for those and not for 68k machines 
(especially older ones like the IIci). I heard that 7.5 was bloated; 
there's a section at gamba's site about downsizing system 7.5, but I 
don't know if that'll make things much faster.
