Well, offhand, the most obvious problem that pops to mind is that 
hosting such a site isn't going to be terrifically cheap. That's a lot 
of storage space and a lot of bandwidth you're talking about. Not to 
mention site administration. And I think if you were to ask Dan Knight, 
he'd tell you there's not a lot of money to be made in vintage Macs. 
But hey, if you've got a couple of hundred bucks (or more) that you 
don't mind throwing away, go for it.

Is there a particular problem with links to other sites? That is one of 
the many selling points of the World Wide Web, after all.
