It seemed to work really well, just some applications obviously didn't
like having their files compressed.

I also had a wierd artifact with sound: it basically didn't work.  Removing
AutoDoubler restored sound.

File System Manager extension was also unhappy with AD/DD installed.

It's possible this was all conflicts with various extensions, and I
don't have any software to sort that kind of thing out.  The extension
move/reboot cycle takes a long time.

I doubt that.  If the HD were corrupted, then decompressing an installer
wouldn't fix the problem.  I don't get these errors running with
AutoDoubler turned off.

I have a file server for that.  Lifesaver, it is.

As far as I know, you cannot get it.  Besides, it was licensed for the
Mac I got, so it's paid for as far as I'm concerned.
