My son's gone to spend the nite at a friend's home. That left me with a spare bit of time to pull together my prize Mac IIci and put the finishing touches on it.
It's got a SuperMac Spectrum 8*24 Ver. 1.60 vid card, which I can't seem to find anything about on Google, 32MB of RAM, O.S. 7.6.1 on a Quantum 1.2 gig SCSI hard drive, and I.E. 3.x. with Eudora 1.3.1. It also grips in its tight little PDS slot, a Daystar Accelerator running at a merciless 33Mhz., and RamDoubler. I will NEVER get over my fascination with 68k Macs and what they do when modified in a balanced way. It is very smooth and glides in it's surfing attempts on my ISP's Frame Relay, modem access, connection of 28,800 on a good day at the distance from his modem-bank that I am. (6 miles). The Daystar was given to me originally to play with in my SE/30. I found I like it better in this machine. Just a little more on why I don't think beige is ready to disappear, just yet.
