The 50 MHz Turbo 030 is very nice, but it's really nothing compared to the Turbo 040's. Though I don't think A/UX supports the Turbo 040 at all, whereas I hear it works with the Turbo 030.
Anyway, I have an odd problem. I'm using a Turbo 040-40 MHz in a IIci, and whenever the Secondary Cache is turned on, it locks up once I run a program, usually with a Type 1 error, followed by a complete freeze where it won't respond to even mouse movement. Has this happened to anyone else? The company I ordered it from said they'd replace the card and cache module, and conveniently sent me a 33 MHz model with no cache. They're just great at this, aren't they? :) > >If you think that's speedy, get the 50Mhz version. > :) > >With FPU of course. -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
