Hi Listers,
Today I had cause to look at a site that requires Java.
Being too lazy to get up and go to the next (cold) room to fire up the
PowerCurve I decided to use this IIci/Turbo 040.
The site is <http://www4.passur.com/sjc.html>.
First I tried iCab. It didn't see the MRJ 1.5.1 that was installed.
Then I tried NN 3.04 Gold. It crashed.
Then I tried IE 3.01 with its Java installer. It crashed.
Then I tried IE 4.01. It worked fine, but the airplanes moved slowly.
The results can be seen here:
FWIW the mouse cursor pointer shows where I live.
And Apple's headquarters at 1 Infinte Loop are above the "u" in
"Cupertino", halfway to highway 280.
