Hello all. I see there are some questions regarding these monitors (multiple scan 15) and from what I can glean from the FAQ's about them, there are issues with this monitor. I picked up one of these in the garbage the other day. It is not the version with speakers, but it does have some headphone jacks on the side. After carefully drying it down bt the woodstove, I tested it. It powers up and works on a PC (ya ya) using a straight PC type cable ( I think it is a HD15 male to male cable), the image however is squished in the centre, that is, it is compressed to be only in the centre third of the screen. My question, to you all is, does it need a special adapter to work properly or is it toast? Is it for using on macs only? I ask this because it was tossed outside one of those PC only type strip mall storefronts. I don't have an adapter and don't want to purchase one for testing purposes only.
