Monitors often make sounds when changing resolutions or turning on and off.
There is probably nothing wrong if your monitor otherwise works as expected.

Most monitors will "interfere" with each other when placed within about 30cm
from each other or less and both left on. Besides spacing them out, the only
other solution I can think of is to put a lead block between them, but
spacing out is probably more economical and safer for people. An interesting
note: The only time I have seen monitors placed together is last night when
I was helping a friend with his new Mac. He set it up right next to his
Gateway VGA monitor for his PC. I expected them to interfere but they
didn't, apparently because of differences between DB-15 and VGA monitors.
