Hi, I'm no expert but I think i'm getting better. I have been tring to get the inet on my Performa 630 and was allways unsucessful. It turned out to be that an extention called "CFM-68k Runtime Enabler" was playing up and not behaving. I tried to re install it from the IE3.1 installer but it kept hanging, to the point where it wouldn't boot up because of it. But when I tried OS 7.6.1 on it it was fine. Do you have this extention? that could be it.
