The 16 bit section is physically the same. As far as
electrically? I dunno if there's some slight
difference
or not.

A few early LC PDS network cards will not work in the
LCIII and newer LC/Performas with the 32bit PDS
extention. I suppose some cards won't physically fit
due to having components hanging off the end in the
same space as the PDS socket extention. Some just
don't work.

The LCIII PDS was carried over into 040 LC/Performa
and some of the cheaper PowerMacs. (Any diffs
between the LC PDS used on 68k and PPC?)

I've yet to actually see any 32bit LC PDS card. What
ones were there?
