Personally, I'd stay away from IE 4. There are many web pages that'll lock it up. On a IIsi, I'd avoid 7.6.1--go for 7.5.5--especially with only 17 MB ram. As for e-mail and some light browsing, I'd go for Netscape 3.04 Gold. No memory leaks, does e-mail quickly and simply, and still can get to many sites.
