On a damfool whim this summer I set up a 486SLC with I.E. 5.0 and went online with it. It worked with 16MB of RAM. And I like I.E. 4.01 on my 68k Macs. I use I.E. 2.0 or 2.1 on my slower Macs but the javascript errors make the websites that use them inaccessible. I've had bad, bad luck with Netscapes from 1.1n to 4.76. The only one I like is the newer 7.0. But that only works on PowerMacs. iCab was slow. Opera is limited. Cyberdog's not worth it. Whatever one may think toward Microsoft, it made the best older Mac browsers in my experience. And, I'm agreeing with the Linux user about Konqueror. A very smooth Browser in Linux.
