Well, if Drive Setup "sees" the unit that just lets you know its functioning
as a SCSI device on the bus.

To get the "driver" to "see" it and let it interface with the computer will
require you to know if those jumpers really did get put back to where they'd
been when hooked to a Mac.

Yamaha may well have a .pdf guide to jumper settings on it's site for your
model. Perhaps a visit there will help.
