No, not my dog. I have finally decided to clear out the pile of old
Apple Macintosh machines that I have had for about 12 years or so. I
tried to get them all working and up to date, but I have run out of time
and patience.
Here is what I am getting rid of:
- 2 Original Macintosh machines (the ones that first came out in
1985{?}.) Complete with original manuals, floppies, etc. little
keyboards, mice, one with an external 20 meg hard drive. I haven't tried
to run them in 5 years.)
- 1 MacII
- 2 MacIIci's (with Asanti 10BASET boards)
- 1 MacIIsi (with some kind of accelerator)
- 1 MacIIvx
- 2 color monitors
- 1 mono monitor
- 5 keyboards and 4 mice
- A couple of printers
- All kinds of cables, AppleTalk hardware, Joystick, modems, System 6,
7.0, 7.5 & 7.5.3 software on diskette and CD, about 20 books ("Macintosh
Bible" and that kind of thing) from the 1990s, and various application
software. The bad news is that most of the diskettes seem to have become
unreadable, and the floppy drives are also in bad shape, except for the
2 IIci machines. I also have adapters so you can plug regular VGA/SVGA
PC monitors into the back of the Macintosh machines.
Here is the hitch - I don't want to piece it out. If nobody takes this
stuff, it is going to the county computer recycling center in October.
And you have to pick it up in northwestern NJ - it is too much to ship.
