It was an old PowerBook something-or-other. I think it was a PowerBook
540c, but I'm not sure exactly.

What kind of computer was modified for this project?

Greetings, all.
A while ago I made a cool project - a digital
picture frame - from an
old laptop. Currently any time the power goes out I
have to grab an
ADB keyboard out of the closet, plug it in, and hit
the power button.
I would rather just make a special little box with a
"power" button on
it, so I can leave it near the picture frame. To do
this, I need to
know what the power button does, what signals it
sends over the ADB
connection.
I have looked for this but have been unable to
figure it out. If any
of you could provide some pointers on how the power
button works on an
ADB keyboard, I would be most grateful.
Thanks.
