I looked more. I found some pop rivets at the sides. To much to take out
for gasketing. As for gasket space on this little cap, a 1/4 x 1" gasket
would be plenty. The cap practically touches the flat top flange of the
opening. The cap is dented but I'm not going to remove the dents for
now. I'll use some of the same 7/16" D gasket that I'm going to use for
the door as soon as I get the old gasket cleaned off.
