Thanks Jim for the info about the Hercules 4 cylinder engine fueled by
natural gas to turn the compressors on large A/C units.
Back to the drawing board. I want a silent A/C unit, not some noisy
internal combustion engine. Why do all that work when a rather silent
52 db Honda Gen putting out 3 KW will drive a 13,500 btu Air
Conditioner. Lots of "talk" about an absorption, ammonia type unit,
but I have never seen even a small one for an RV.
