I used a Dremel (high speed drill) with a grinding wheel to file down the casting post which was in the way of the carb linkage. After sanding this down far enough, I covered the exposed surface with a thin coat of JB Weld. That was five or six years ago, and I've had no problems with the carb or the alternator. However, I discovered that I am no a big fan of the 34 series Bocar carburator. Granted it works, but it's no Solex. _________________________________________________________________ Exercise your brain!
