I think I got it to work. I took the accell arm of my old 30 pict carb and it 
fits great. It might need some adjustment on the end of the arm. It looks like 
it will move at the right time. I gotta clean the carb, then I'll try it out!

  I used a Dremel (high speed drill) with a grinding wheel to file down the 
  casting post which was in the way of the carb linkage.  After sanding this 
  down far enough, I covered the exposed surface with a thin coat of JB Weld.
  That was five or six years ago, and I've had no problems with the carb or 
  the alternator. However, I discovered that I am no a big fan of the 34 
  series Bocar carburator.  Granted it works, but it's no Solex.
