Just so you know Dan, I worked on a 1966 beetle with a 6v flywheel but a 1500SP engine which was 12v. It caused a little bit of an issue when the old flywheel went with the engine and I had to get it back from CRAM Foreign Auto in Omaha. Phil mentioned something about it being "turned down." That's all I knew and so Marc's reply is a major keeper. Thanks Marc for posting it and thanks Dan for asking! :)
