Asad, I think somebody's found the source of your mystery horn button.
Look at http://www.deere.com/en_US/compinfo/history/trademark.html?sidenavstate=00000011 . (If the URL does not reproduce well by e-mail, just Google out "john deere logo 1956"). It does appear to be the version of the horn button used on John Deere farm equipment beginning in 1956. It was changed a while later, when the deer's front feet were tucked under to suggest a full run rather than a leap. I briefly suspected the Nigerian-assembled VW Danfo delivery van, but can't find a picture of its steering wheel! Nothing runs like a Bugge! 8^) Bert _______________________________________________ vintagvw site list [email protected] http://lists.sjsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/vintagvw
