Peter,You will have to remove the carb.  Purchase a rebuild kit.  If you don't
have access to compressed use brake clean to make sure the ports from the
accellerator pump is clear to the spray nozzelCompletely clean the carb,
Replace all gaskets and test..Dan --- On Wed 03/26, Peter Perez < [EMAIL

12 volt upgrade, flat spot off idle? Thanks for all the tips guys. Well i took
the decklidoff (because i couldn't get my melon head in closeenough to look
down the carb) and started working thethrottle with the engine off. Well it
didn't look likethere was anything coming out of the accelerator tube.So I
start it up and go back and mess with it somemore and still nothing coming out.
So I think I'vefound the problem. So do I need to take the wholething apart and
soak it or just take the top off
andblow everything out? Also Marc, will the preheat flanges not being
drilledout cause a performance problem? There were smallholes there but I could
have certainly made thembigger. Thanks again for all the help gang!-pete ---
