0 190 601 006 was superseded by 0 190 601 007 and then by 0 190 601 016. I don't know what the differences are, but all three are represented as suitable for use with both the 55A AL75X and 70A AL108X Bosch alternators used in `72-`79 buses. It may be that the only difference between the 0 190 601 016 and the 0 190 601 017 is the pigtail furnished with the latter. I would expect any of them to work fine on a Bosch Type I alternator; as I said before, I don't know if they'd be compatible with Motorola.
