I had the wonderful privilege of being the oldest grandson and being taught so many things from this wonderful man. There was much more left which I never got to learn once his health wouldn't let him do much more than walk from the house to the car. His shop still sits there with his lifetime of tools ready to be graced with the master's hands and it's so hard to see. I just wanted to pay tribute to my grandfather 'Papa' and I'm so glad I got to see him the day before he died and visit with him for an hour - thanking him for all that he taught me.
