I've disassembled some engines that were either rusted or seized and it can be
very difficult to get the heads off of the cylinders and sometimes the pistons
out of the cylinders. Soak everything with a lubricant/ penetrant oil and let
it sit for a day or so. If necessary, use some heat to help release things.
Carefully pry the heads off of the cylinders using a mallet, prying and heat.
If they wont release, then you'll have to leave them stuck to the head while
you get the pistons out of the cylinders. If one side is off, remove the rod
nuts through the crankcase openings and take the rods off of the crank.
If it's really badly rusted or seized, those parts are junk, anyway. You can
then destroy them, if necessary to get it apart, but don't damage the case in
the process or that'll be junk, too.
You can fit 1600 cylinders right into your case and heads with no machining
required, and as an added bonus, they're relatively cheap, widely available new
and not expensive. Cyl. heads are also so cheap nowadays, that many rebuilders
won't overhaul them, as it cost about the sme to buy new. Single ports can be
swapped for dual ports with all the correct tin, and intake manifold pieces.
I understand that you say that parts are scarce where you are (where is
that?), but maybe another engine would need less parts than this one may need.

Good luck,

Mike B.
