Bill and Matt - it's this resource of information that I really appreciate. If all I have to do is move the metal bracket back by the rear wheel, them I'm in business. I've never done a pan off restoration but I'm feeling pretty good about it. I know it's a lot of work but after spending a month working on this Ford Contour with NO room to work on the engine, I'm just sooooo ready to bail on these newer cars and go strictly VW! Plus I hate checking the antifreeze. I just like checking the dipstick and I'm ready to go!!!
