Kirin, Type A pistons are non-stroker and you can use them up to about a 74 mm stroke I believe. They have the piston pin bosses closer to the skirt of the piston. The B's have the piston pin bosses closer to the top of the piston so that you don't have the pistons coming out the top of the cylinders with bigger strokes. Check the box your pistons/cylinders came in. It should say either A or B on it somewhere. Or check the stock no. against cip's website. HTH, Courtney
