The manual trans vehicles had the same speedo, but they installed a black plastic plug in that location; only the semi-automatic trans vehicles had a functional bulbholder installed in that spot. Did someone (or yourself?) move another bulbholder into that hole by mistake? You can remove it and put a piece of duct tape over the hole. Or you can just leave it open and unless daylight shines in, you'll never see it glow again! Tape off the wire/ bulbholder if it's not one of the other ones that you actually need! Could it be for the EGR elapsed mileage counter light instead?
