Hello, I first joined when I was at Michigan State U. when I had a '71 Super Beetle then a '69 Type II in the mid 80's. Sold them in '90 and moved to NY. I've rejoined a few times with various VW's. Now I have a different '71 Super Beetle. Transaxle went a few years ago and I'm finally getting around to swapping it out. Engine is out, trans is out, prepping for install. Lots to do!
