My wife was not at home when I took this photo, so I shuffled the cars around to make a better photo. Her Passat normally sits where the Ghia is. The Ghia sits where the ’62 Beetle is, and the Beetle sits where the router is. She married into my VW collection some 35 years ago, so she didn’t have much of a chance, although the Corrado and Audi are concessions to her desire for me to have an air conditioned car. It gets real HOT here in the summer. I’ m thinking the Ghia may turn into a 911 sometime in the near future. Had a bunch of motorcycles when we got married also. Four Kids made motorcycles pretty impractical.
Anyway, that’s the story. Also had a ’59 Fiat 500, and a ’60 DKW Junior when we were married. Wish I still had those.
