Bill (and all), Yeah, I’ve found these; they’re a standard hardware item. They just aren’t elegant. I’m trying to find the German square type mainly because they would pop back into the torn holes in just the right place and seat themselves a bit until they’re zapped. The P.O. just used washers and hex nuts inside the trunk (etc.). Ugly. Really inelegant.
