Hello,

Apple states that turning the radios off will conserve battery life. They do
not say that it will conserve a lot of battery life. This includes bluetooth,
wifi, GPS, and 3g. GPS uses the most battery life by far, but only turns on
when you load a GPS app. 3g is probably second, and wifi is probably third.
Bluetooth, even when actively running uses little power.

Having your touch-screen active uses more power than any of the radios save
GPS. As for wifi and 3g, increased data flow requires greater amounts of power.

Of course, if you are really concerned about battery usage, don't use your
iPhone.

As for me, I use my iPhone for everything, so need to charge it twice a day.
That is still better battery life than what I get from my MacBook on the
occasions when I run it, And I do the same things with both devices. My iPhone
is my daily computer.
