The Apple TV is a settop box that connects to an actual television. It's
meant for streaming content like Netflix to a TV

Oh ok why is this? Sorry if this sounds stupid but what's the difference
between an Apple TV and a laptop with external speakers? Also I plan to
watch movies mainly, not TV episodes.

If you go that rout, the experience won't be good, at all. Also,
there's no way to see any other season of a TV show except the first
one when watching things through the website, as far as I can tell.

No I don't own an Apple TV but I do have excellent external speakers
for my laptop. So watching them on the PC isn't a big deal, but what
if I decide to use my iPhone or iPod Touch?

Hi,

If you currently don't own an Apple TV, then I'd strongly urge you to
cancel until they fix the app, if they ever do. The last time I tried
to email them about issues, I got no response at all, so it leads me
to believe they're another one of those companies that don't give a
damn about the small market for visually impaired people, which in
and of
itself is pretty pathetic.

That's no good at all. I have just signed up and am nearly on my
first week of my free trial which expires on the 25th of this month.
I don't know how much I am going to use my iPhone or iPod Touch to
listen to Netflix, but in any case, should I cancel for now then
re-join another time? I know in the UK it's like £6 a month, but it
would sure be nice to have access to Netflix across the board, not
just the pC. Please
advise. Thanks!

Hello,

Has anyone noticed that the Netflix ap on the iPad has become
inaccessible again? I tried to finish a show on my iPad that I
started on my apple TV, but was unable to do so since VoiceOver read
nothing but
the headings.
