Thanks for the continued suggestions. The Klipsch is a great player. The footprint is medium for a bedside, in my opinion. About 12x4.8x4. It sound great, super easy to use, and charges the iPhone in a flash.
We have 2, the older model, that doesn't charge the iPhone4 nor Nano 5th gen, the the newer model, that is currently broken. :) I just read about 2 Yamaha models that get good ratings, and an old-fashion looking model from Sangean. I'm going to look up there measurements to compare to the Klipsch.
