Yes, you get good at it and with practice, it is quicker and more reliable 
than groping all over the virtual keyboard on the screen. Good in noisy 
environments when you can't hear the feedback of what you're touching on 
screen.  It's not quite a real keyboard, but it offers that kind of 
assurance of you know what you're doing without having to be prompted or 
confirmed every step of the way.  That's the real benefit.  I think the 3 
modes you switch on the rotor would be a great advance on all edit fields to 
be honest, but that's asking too much.  But, and I do do this,  do the 
writing in TIB, copy to clipboard as a basic option, then go to the real app 
and paste straight into the  field.
It has basics already like sms, email, twitter and facebook;  and just use 
the clipboard feature after that.

I started off a bit cynical, but some of the greatest advocates started 
there too.

I'd like to hear from people who are using this app. I was intrigued
when I read the description, but after listening to the demo,my
initial impression is that it's a rather labor-intensive way of
inputting text.
