I agree. It would pretty for someone to grab your phone off the clip on
your belt as well. If it's under your nose, they might be a little less
likely to try it. I'm looking forward to getting mine.

I'm interested in such a lanyard for use around the house, like when I'm
doing laundry or the dishes, and I want to use my ear buds and keep my
hands free. I'm not worried about anyone snatching my iPhone from me in
my own house! :-)
When out about about, I don't see why you couldn't keep your iPhone on a
lanyard under your shirt or jacket. This seems more secure than say
holding it in my hand or an easily picked pocket.
