Hi. I don't believe you will hear streets as you cross them. You will
hear when it's time to turn however. So, I recommend a combination of
Navigon and Ariadne. For former gives you the turn by turn directions
and the latter gives you the streets you are on or the ones you cross
and the direction you are walking in.
