Hi, I downloaded what I think is the Safeway app just a couple of days ago and, aside from some initial problems getting it to recognize my phone number and club card number, everything appeared to work okay, although I did see the empty list a couple of times. . I was a little perturbed, though, because I wasn't able to browse the aisles as I would if I fired up my PC and went over to the Safeway Accessibility site at
http://shop.safeway.com/access So, thinking I might have better luck browsing the above web site using Safari on my iPhone 4 with IOS 5.1.1, I tried it, signed in just fine, and ran smack into another obstacle. Specifically, except on one occasion, when I tapped the Shop by Aisle link, all of the aisle links (baby care, bread and bakery, beverages, dairy, deli and so on) appeared onscreen visually but they weren't spoken by VoiceOver and I couldn't flick through them or use the rotor to find them either. This really ticked me off. If any of you on the list have a Safeway account and could sign in to http://shop.safeway.com/access using Safari with VoiceOver, let me know if you experience the same problem with links appearing onscreen visually but being ignored by VoiceOver. I'm curious about whether this is a VoiceOver issue or something wrong with the web site and the way Safari renders the pages. Thanks in advance.
