I'm sorry but that doesn't help with the 4S. No matter how high you set the
volume, when you dial a number, VO drops way down. That was the first thing
I tried.

The best work around I've found is to plug in headphones. It wasn't this way
with my 3GS but is a royal pain with the 4S.

call. When the automated system comes on, however the keypad doesn't speak
and I can't imput the numbers that I need in to the phone to work with the
