Tried this; got volume back up to 100 per cent and changed buttons, but still no speech through speaker. Here's the interesting part. As I was raising volume my phone used the default ringer I have set up as a way to show me how loud the phone now is. That came through the speaker just fine, thank you! It's only VO that doesn't. Am just methodically trying everything people suggest Thanks.

If so, do a two finger flick up so VO starts reading the entire screen and then start tapping the up volume button. Once you get VO back to where you can hear it, set that setting to off, so the buttons don't change the sound volume. When I call my cell phone number I can hear the ringer, but when I hang up I still cannot hear VO except through ear phones. Any ideas?
