The only way I know to delete books from within the audible app, you have to have the book playing . In other words, the info/details/delete method can only be accomplished while you are playing the file. So in order to delete all parts of a book, you have to go to each part, start playing then double tap the info button, go to the details tab then swipe to the delete button. It's a bit clunky but becomes easier with practice.
