Yes, it does. Similar to how it was when the podcasts were included in the all inclusive music app. It's basically the same thing, but just a stand alone app. It only allows for normal, fast and slow speeds and their version of fast still feels like quicksand. It's fine and all that Apples' separated this section from the music app, but in my opinion, Downcast and iCatcher still offer a bit more as far as what one can do. Especially downcast with its ability to play files at 3 times the normal speed. I use it to listen to not only podcasts, but other audible material as well for this same 3 x playback reason.
