I would and I do just buy audio books directly. Its cheaper, I got a automatic backup and they send me great specials. Why buy from the middle man in this case? There is no benefit at all. BTW this has been in place for years. Since Apple gets its books from audible.com they can't offer what audible.com can, so in this rare case Audible has the leg up.
